Anthony Riach recently commented ‘This film has always had the intention of being very musically driven, so the collaboration with Budapest Scoring Orchestra was a must. Growing up, we were always inspired by shows with orchestral scores’.
Originally Room 20's music and sound was to be solely produced by Szymon Zmudzki, the Music Director of the film, but along the path the team decided to act upon their aspirations of creating original orchestral score.
Szymon Zmudzki went on to say ‘I reached out to over 40 individual orchestras and orchestrators. Initially all we heard was that we're too ambitious, and that orchestral music was something that wasn’t achievable for Room 20. Although the pushback was quite significant we didn't give up there. Eventually, I received a reply from a consultant at one of the most prominent and succesful orchestras in the world - the London Philharmonic Orchestra. I was put through to Allan Wilson who helped me achieve what seemed to be an impossible goal. Allan is a Hollywood veteran, with an extremely vast amount of experience both as a conductor and orchestrator, his influence on the score and the outcome was monumental.

In May of 2023, Szymon Zmudzki, Allan Wilson and Anthony Riach collaborated with The Budapest Scoring Orchestra.
