Production on Northern Noir #1 is moving at full speed, and we are proud to officially introduce the core creative team bringing this story to life. Building a prestige graphic novel requires a precise blend of storytelling, visual weight, and technical mastery. For Issue #1, we have brought together an incredible roster of industry veterans and creative powerhouses to craft every single panel.
The Creative Team
Anthony Riach – Writer & Creator
As director of RIACHBROS Entertainment, Anthony leads the narrative vision for Northern Noir. Drawing directly on his cinematic storytelling background in projects such as Untitled (2025) or Room 20 (2023) and personal roots, Anthony blends authentic Northern grit with South Asian cultural influences to craft a nuanced, rain-slicked crime saga. His writing captures the tension, dialogue, and sharp atmosphere of modern regional issues in a period noir crime detective Thriller.
Adam Tomkins – Lead Artis (Pencils & Inks)
Adam Tomkins – Lead Artist (Pencils & Inks)
Adam takes the lead on interior art, defining the visual identity of the series. A powerhouse illustrator with a background in high-level Hollywood production art, Adam’s storyboarding credits include Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Far From Home and Netflix’s sci-fi epic Altered Carbon. He brings that exact cinematic pacing, heavy chiaroscuro shadows, dynamic panel layouts, and deep character expression to every page of Northern Noir.
Roy Huteson Stewart – Colourist
Roy is a seasoned comic artist and colourist whose distinct visual work spans acclaimed projects including Collide alongside extensive work across independent publishing. Roy paints the oppressive, mood-rich palette that defines our world—from muted grey skies to vibrant streetlamp glares, his rendering elevates the visual tone and sets the emotional temperature for the entire book.
Saida Temofonte – Letterer
Saida is an industry titan whose lettering work spans decades across major publishers including DC Comics, Image Comics, Dark Horse, and IDW. Having lettered iconic characters and flagship series, Saida brings unmatched precision to Northern Noir—ensuring balloon placement, dialogue rhythm, and custom sound effects deliver maximum narrative punch.
